"Don't Forget the Women"
- Women were facing problems everyday of there life during this period of time.
- The only one advocating for them was Abigail Adams when she wrote a letter to her husband John Adams stating “Remember the ladies.”
- Abigail was against slavery and wanted education for everyone from an early age, it didn't matter what color you were.
- The women during her time had to stay home and be cleaning.
- Mrs. Adams believed and said, “do not put such unlimited power into the hands of the Husbands. Remember all men would be tyrants if they could.” stating that to much power is bad for a man, because they are always trying to control or takeover.
- The women wanted a voice and wanted to be treated equal, that to them was the American Dream.
